This physonect siphonophore Bargmannia was
collected in excellent condition with the Johnson-Sea-Link submersible.
This genus is interesting because it produces green and blue light, and
it can also eject bioluminescent particles as it swims . (Nectosome [top
part] approx. 9 cm long)
